NeuroSupport Services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background in Brain Injury and Mental Health experience to support service users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and enable people to optimize independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates, support workers, and healthcare assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and in helping service users access the community. We seek candidates that are confident working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Leicester, LE4
Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £14 per hour depending on experience.

Days & Hours:
Monday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
About You - Essential Experience:
Preferably a support or therapy assistant, with experience working with people who have ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) and mobility issues.
About Our Client:
Our client is a 63-year-old male who has an acquired brain injury following a road traffic incident, which has also left him with mobility issues. He is looking for support twice a week for four hours. There is a possibility of evening events, so some flexibility may be required, but these would be booked weeks in advance.
Duties on Shift:
* Taking the client to appointments, including a pain clinic and physiotherapy.
* Diary management and facilitating food shopping needs.
* Going out with the client socially and prompting exercise/short walks.
Successful Candidates Will:
* Have access to full training, including Brain Injury Awareness Training.
* Have CPD opportunities.
* Be subject to Full Enhanced DBS.
* Receive a competitive hourly rate.
* Gain experience working with a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
