About this Role Join our team as a Telemetry Controller, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless fleet operations for the DGEMC fleet. You'll oversee the installation and deinstallation of telematics equipment, proactively manage breakdowns, and provide system access for clients to monitor driver behaviour and incidents. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining fleet reliability and customer satisfaction. Coordinate and oversee telematics equipment installations and removals. Monitor real-time fault codes and provide proactive updates to service control. Administer secure system access for clients, ensuring compliance with data protection. Collaborate with operational teams to minimise downtime and enhance fleet performance. Provide technical support and training to teams and clients on telematics systems. About You You are a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background in telematics and fleet management. Your communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams, ensuring a seamless user experience. You bring a keen eye for detail, coupled with organisational skills to maintain accurate records and reporting. Proven experience in fleet management or telematics systems, preferably in the HGV sector. Strong technical understanding of telematics equipment and vehicle monitoring systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret fault codes and prioritise actions. Familiarity with data protection regulations for managing sensitive client information. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
