We have an exciting opportunity for a non-smoker/ Ex-smoker to support the Smoking Cessation Team and the delivery of the service. You will work with patients supporting access to medications as well as more general administration functions for the team. An understand of Microsoft packages and Excel is key to this volunteer role.
To support central administration functions and departments. Improving patient and staff experience by providing administrative support in areas where there is increased demand or where extra support will make an effective contribution to day to day running of services.
The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:
· Greet visitors to the department / clinic in a polite and friendly manner
· Responding to enquiries in a polite manner and ensuring an appropriate response is initiated.
· Supporting staff in dealing with urgent referrals from professionals
· Answering telephones
· Call based – administration - to pharmacies and patients.
· Photocopying
