Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead sales growth covering the North East of England.
As a Business Development Manager at Clearway, you'll lead initiatives to drive sales revenue, collaborating closely with the Sales Director and cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales growth by actively promoting and selling Clearway Technology solutions within the designated geographic territory.
2. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalised attention to client needs.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting methods including cold calling, networking, and direct outreach campaigns.
4. Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and implement innovative strategies for business expansion and market penetration.
5. Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer experiences.
6. Actively participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance.
7. Represent Clearway at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our solutions and establish new connections.
8. Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
9. Utilise sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems, to effectively manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
10. Continuously assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
11. Take ownership of personal development plans in collaboration with the line manager to achieve individual and team goals.
Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
1. Experience in B2B field sales with a proven record of success.
2. Target driven with relentless determination to achieve results.
3. Highly motivated with a demonstrated track record in driving sales growth.
4. Possess a genuine passion for sales, coupled with a strong desire to exceed expectations and create lasting relationships with clients.
5. Proficiency in sales techniques including listening, questioning, negotiation, and closing.
6. Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Willingness to go the extra mile, going above and beyond to meet customer needs, explore new opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
8. An understanding of the security industry and marketplace would be beneficial.
9. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
10. Competency in using CRM systems for managing sales activity and pipeline.
11. Team player.
12. Full UK driving license with willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays.
