Position Summary:
The Container Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to deliver/remove permanent trash/cardboard dumpsters and service temporary construction dumpsters. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers while complying with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with Company policies.
Your Role:
* Driving safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes accurately and on time.
* Service, clean, and maintain dumpsters.
* Empty vehicle at disposal site.
* Stay in radio contact with and respond to requests from Dispatcher.
* Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.
* Assist other Drivers with Routes when directed.
* Pre- and post-trip inspection and report.
* Complete route work.
* Work all assigned shifts from the scheduled start time to the scheduled end time.
* Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.
* Receive complaints from customers and report issues with problems professionally to Dispatch.
* Maintain reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
* Adapt to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Requirements:
* Appropriate Driver License.
* Acceptable driving record.
* Able to meet all DOT requirements.
* DOT Med Card.
* Basic mechanical knowledge.
