Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Management PA based at Ayrshire Maternity Unit within University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
As part of a team of 4, you will provide comprehensive personal secretarial support to the Senior Management Team within the fast-paced Women and Children’s Directorate, which includes Maternity, Gynaecology, Sexual Health, Women's Health, and Paediatric and Neonatal services.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Professional qualification i.e. HNC in a relevant discipline (Business Admin/Secretarial Studies/Public Administration) or equivalent previous experience in a secretarial role (i.e. experience as a department/personal secretary).
2. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
3. Good organisational and planning skills.
4. Understanding of a range of Governance procedures and processes.
5. Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative and as part of a team whilst under pressure.
6. Proficient I.T. skills, which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
7. Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion are maintained at all times.
