AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for an Apprentice to join our team to complete an Airport Facilities Management Supervisor L3 Apprenticeship based at Stansted Airport, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe's largest airline, to help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment and to support our existing facilities manager where needed.

Day to Day Tasks
* Support and co-ordinate the delivery of facilities management services, including basic H&S checks.
* Resolve day-to-day problems to ensure the facilities management service runs smoothly with no impact on the working environment.
* Assist in maintaining the site in a good state of repair and appearance including all buildings, offices, and facilities.
* Work collaboratively with contractors.
* Manage onsite issues reported and communicate with the relevant department/personnel when necessary.
* Report on, arrange, and oversee any alterations, redecoration, building, and maintenance works and specialised repair work.
* Maintain complete and accurate records of all statutory maintenance undertaken across the building including weekly and monthly checks.
* Ensure the work is completed by the building’s in-house team and appointed contractors on time and as per H&S regulations and assist the Facilities Manager in booking services by external contractors.
* Assist the Facilities Manager with small to medium projects.
* Assist the Facilities Manager in obtaining quotes.
* Assist with the production and management of the estates team roster, holidays, overtime, and planned absences.
* Daily liaison with the Estates & Facilities Manager.
Working Hours - Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 17.30, Friday 08.30 - 17.00
