At Teaching Personnel, we are collaborating closely with a school in Middleton who are actively seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support Year 1 students. This is an exciting opportunity to anyone who wants to work in a school that provides a stable and supportive environment in which everyone feels safe and valued. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
1. Provide encouragement and support during core foundation subjects.
2. Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 students.
3. Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
4. Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
3. Knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and methods to support this.
4. Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
