Salary: £35,000 - £40,000pa + fantastic benefits

London Medical is a specialist outpatient clinic located in London’s renowned medical district Harley Street and is now a part of Bupa Health Services. Our diabetes and specialist services offer customers fast access to diagnosis, treatment, and support when they need it, as well as onward pathways to high quality care at Bupa’s Cromwell Hospital.

What you’ll do
As Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support for the Medical Secretaries’ department. You will interact with patients, consultants, staff, and visitors to facilitate a coordinated pathway of care for patients.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Providing admin support to the department and prioritising doctors’ workload accordingly to ensure each practitioner’s work is accurately completed on time.
* Maintaining a polite and friendly manner and a high standard of confidentiality.
* Working as part of a team, showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients.
* Filing all correspondence, test results, and referral letters into the patient’s notes before returning to medical records.
* Receiving telephone messages and relevant queries, sending/receiving faxed messages, and relaying promptly to the doctor concerned. Requesting patient information from outside organisations.
* Supporting in the coordination of our multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure consultant engagement and the smooth running of the meeting.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* Private Medical Secretary experience.
* MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) experience would be desirable.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good time management and prioritisation skills.
* Organisational skills.
* Telephony skills.
* IT literate.
