We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Primary Care teams working across HMP Preston and HMP Kirkham. Within this role you will be working 3 days per week at HMP Preston, a category B remand prison, and 2 days per week at HMP Kirkham, a category D prison, both located in Preston. This is a fantastic role for a Pharmacist who enjoys developing pharmacy services and wants to make the role their own. As part of this position, you will be delivering medication reviews, clinics, and a small amount of dispensing.

This position is full-time, and you'll receive an annual salary from £49,848 up to £55,996 per annum depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
At Practice Plus Group, our pharmacy teams ensure medicines optimisation is embedded into everyday practice.
You'll be responsible for:
* The provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
* Working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations.
* Providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners.
* Leading a team of support staff and working closely with a range of clinicians and non-clinicians from Primary Care, Mental Health, and other health partners in ensuring effective delivery of pharmacy services.
