Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd UK is looking for an Administrator, established or first appointment to join their team. The role focuses on managing bid documentation and tender administration to obtain contracts with prestigious clients in England and Wales. You will be managing the development of bid documentation and tenders, from receipt of client information through to contract award. The successful candidate will have responsibility and accountability for supporting the production of winning bids. We invite all experienced administration professionals, including qualified administration apprentices from a business environment looking for their next step to apply. A bidding background is a benefit, although not essential as we will provide training and development for the right candidate. Ideally based out of our Darlington office, the successful candidate will work from home and must be able to commute to the local office on a hybrid basis. LI-Hybrid The Role Reporting to the Proposals Manager, key responsibilities include managing proposal development, scheduling meetings, collaborating across functions for proposal preparation, liaising with clients, organising site visits, preparing presentations, managing documents, setting up new bids, ensuring timely proposal submissions and developing a proposal content library for efficient information retrieval. The main requirements include, demonstrated administrative experience in a business setting, GCSE qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, strong communication skills, attention to detail, effective organisational abilities, resilience and the capacity to manage multiple tasks while adhering to processes.
