Job Title: History Teacher Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120.00 - £180.00 per day Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards Assess and evaluate student progress Provide feedback to students and parents Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in History or a related field Experience teaching history at the secondary level Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum Education: Degree in History or a related field Experience: Teaching history at the secondary level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of historical concepts and events Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and inspire students Organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience using technology in the classroom Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: The role involves working in a secondary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Classroom-based teaching with some administrative duties. May require participation in extracurricular activities or parent meetings.
