Job summary NUH Pharmacy is excited to offer the rare opportunity for a 12-month secondment to join our well-established NUH pharmacy education and training team. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly team to help lead on the training and development programme for our band 7 rotational clinical pharmacists. As a dynamic individual you will contribute to the strategic development of postgraduate pharmacists, including scoping opportunities to cultivate new training programmes for example to support advanced professional practice. The successful post holder would be a vital member of the pharmacy education and training team with the aim of making sure our post-registration pharmacists have the support and development opportunities they need to build a successful career. Main duties of the job You will have the skills required to manage, coach and mentor pharmacists undertaking foundation training and supporting their progression to a band 7 rotational post within NUH pharmacy. In addition you will act as a role model and consistently ensure high standards of training throughout the department in order to fulfill pharmacy professional regulatory and NHS England quality assurance requirements.
