What's involved with this role: Title: Temporary Estate Officer Job Ref: Sheffield 0009 56AE / 1 Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: SHEFFIELD Undertake Environmental horticultural maintenance duties, within the council area of Housing. Key Responsibilities: Estate / block cleaning Clearing blocked refuse chutes and ensuring bin rooms clean/clear. Rubbish collection and disposal. Delivery of mail Graffiti removal Liaison with tenants Repairs reporting and post inspection of communal repairs. Production of written and verbal reports as required. Undertaking minor communal repairs Weeding and shrub pruning to communal areas Knowledge: Basic knowledge of customer care. Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role Skills & Abilities: Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Ability to work in a safe manner in accordance with appropriate policies.
