Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments across various international transportation modes, including air, sea, and road. Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure seamless delivery. Ensure shipments are delivered on time. Manage end-to-end order processing. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to address order-related inquiries or issues. Maintain and update order records in the system. Prepare and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. Prepare export documentation and manage international courier bookings. Ensure compliance with UK and international shipping laws, including Brexit-related requirements. Maintain accurate records of all freight transactions. Act as the point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding freight & order queries. Proactively communicate order acknowledgements, shipment statuses and resolve delivery issues. Build strong relationships with customers (internally & externally) to ensure high service standards. Address issues such as delays, damages, or misrouted goods promptly. Produce regular performance reports and recommend process improvements. Analyse freight data to identify trends and opportunities for cost efficiency. Person Specifications: Previous experience in logistics, freight coordination, or transport planning (1 years preferred). Strong understanding of UK import/export procedures and customs processes, particularly post-Brexit. A team player with a keen attention to detail and a strong customer service focus. Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
