Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nightingale Valley Practice for a Practice Nurse. We are a very friendly and supportive team, co-located in a purpose-built Health Centre with a wide range of associated health services. Our team has a strong multi-disciplinary working ethos and enjoy supporting each other. Working closely with GP colleagues, the post-holder will deliver several Treatment Room clinics providing assessment; treatment; screening; health education services and advice to patients We are looking for the post-holder to work 25-37 hours per week. Main duties of the job You will ideally have knowledge and experience of dealing with chronic disease in addition to other Practice Nurse tasks. You will need to be NMC registered with a minimum of 1 year experience working in primary care. The ideal person will be empathetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated person that is confident working alone or as part of a team. This role is also responsible for working towards our annual campaigns, including planning and coordination of clinics, and overseeing QOF to ensuring we are meeting required targets for chronic diseases. In addition you will be expected to take part in the extended hours rota for the practice. About us We are pleased to be able to offer flexibility and autonomy within the skill set of the role.
