Job responsibilities We are looking for a progressive team-player who is keen to learn and develop with us and who has an interest in womens health. We are a diverse, dynamic, mutually supportive team including 2 GP partners (1 male, 1 female) plus one outgoing, 1 salaried GP (male), 3 Clinical Pharmacists, a Lead Nurse & ANP, another 2 nurses and one HCA; supported by our Care Navigators, Management and administration teams. On top of this we have a growing team of PCN Additional Roles team members integrated with ours including 2 further Clinical Pharmacists, a Physio & a Dietician. We were early up takers of formal versions of Care Navigation in Jan 2022 & of Workflow administrative support in 2017. We embrace new technologies / ways of working and optimise our use of EMIS to minimise administrative burden and free our clinicians up to focus on patient care and the best use of their skills. We use E-Consultation, AccuRx & Dragon dictation software. Our population has a high proportion of elderly patients and relatively low deprivation, we have no care homes, home visit demand is low & largely managed by our community team or ANP. Our GPs conduct 15 appointments per session or 13 plus 4 e-consultations. We are strongly supported by our PCN & GP Federation who provide our extended hours and access services. We use the BMA standard contract. Our experienced GPs are delighted to provide mentorship & have a breadth of special interests & expertise.
