Medical Oncologist: upper GI, GI NETs, renal cancer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Medical Oncologist in upper GI, GI NETs and renal cancer to join our friendly, forward-looking team of oncologists at The James Cook Cancer Institute caring for patients in Teesside, North Yorkshire and County Durham. This is one of two substantive oncology posts we are currently advertising.
This is a part new and part replacement post for consultants gradually reducing their hours, for semi-retirement or other reasons; so, you will be joining existing, experienced teams and there may be some flexibility in the tumour sites we can offer. Therefore, we would welcome enquiries from candidates interested in alternative tumour sites, including lower GI and melanoma.
Successful applicants will work alongside enthusiastic, dynamic, research active teams who have a track record of innovation and technical developments.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust warmly welcomes applications for this 10 PA post to join the team. Candidates who do not wish to work full time for personal reasons will be eligible to be considered for the post.
