Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (50 hours per week)

About the Role
Our client specializes in the maintenance and repair of curtain sider trailers, tractor units, and tippers, and is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of heavy-duty vehicles and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on curtain sider trailers, tractor units, and tippers.
* Inspect and identify issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
* Ensure vehicles and trailers comply with safety standards and legal requirements.
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to efficiently troubleshoot faults.
* Maintain clear and accurate records of services and repairs.
* Coordinate with the team to manage and prioritize workloads.
Key Requirements
* HGV License Class 1 is essential.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working with HGVs, trailers, and tippers.
* In-depth knowledge of curtain sider trailers, tractor units, and tippers.
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* High attention to detail and organizational skills.
