About the role
In the role of Brand Director you will lead the brand strategy across multiple disciplines and channels, managing a team of three. Focused on growing brand awareness, engagement and loyalty amongst existing and new customers, were looking for an agile leader who can adapt quickly to different projects. As the brand guardian, looking after multiple brands, this role requires creativity and strong organizational skills.
This role is accountable for social media strategy & agency management, email marketing & website content and graphic design. Plus responsible for creative campaign development & execution featuring relevant partners, driving more direct visits to YOTEL.com & brand visibility.
More specifically, responsibilities will include the following (not exhaustive list):
* Brand guardian across YOTEL brand and multiple sub-brands ranging from hotel products to restaurants.
* Brand development and refinement where needed.
* Ensure brand identity is consistent across all channels; reinforcing brand values and supporting hotels with compliance.
* Lead strategy & execution for content across all owned channels.
* Develop & grow new and existing brand partnership opportunities.
* Drive strategy & execution of brand wide creative campaigns, plus seasonal sales & packages.
* Lead strategy for email marketing content.
* Lead creative, branding and positioning across multiple offline & online channels.
* Creative lead on global photo and video shoots.
* Support customer journey developments internally across multiple projects; CRM, membership programme, on-property enhancements.
* Manage graphic design function for all hotels and HQ design needs.
* Lead strategies for social media, influencer marketing and content creation.
* Support digital marketing and ecommerce team.
* Collaborate with Operations, Technical Services and Commercial to support new openings and transitions.
* Oversee marketing efforts for F&B brands including; brand development & execution,. SEO website support, email marketing plus cross marketing opportunities.
* Creative lead on any brand specific advertising opportunities; either online or OOH.
* Support Regional Marketing teams with strategy ideation & execution.
* Support global & regional Sales teams with brand marketing collateral, presentations and brand guidance.
The skills we are looking for are:
* Minimum 7-10 years experience in a senior consumer marketing position.
* Proven track record in a similar role.
* Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals.
* Excellent copywriting skills.
* Attention to detail, highly organised with the ability to work across multiple projects & teams.
* Creative and commercial with a proven history of brand management.
* A high level of passion & awareness for the hospitality industry and other globally leading consumer brands.
* Motivational leader with strong people management skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Great at building relationships & managing key stakeholders.
