Manufacturing Engineer

Vickerstock is collaborating with one of Europe's biggest and best crushing and screening companies based in Mid-Ulster to assist them with the recruiting of a Manufacturing Engineer.
The role involves working heavily with different departments to ensure tracked data is maintained, improved and built upon to ensure a smoother and more efficient manufacturing process across the site.
Your key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer:
* Communicate with source document preparers to clarify questions, resolve discrepancies, or obtain missing information.
* Review data entries and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy.
* Gather, organise, and validate data before input.
* Support the development and upkeep of a streamlined and effective record management system.
* Develop and manage Manufacturing BoM (Bill of Materials) templates within the ERP system.
* Generate reports to support accurate BoM creation and ensure a 'right first time' approach.
* Schedule products in the ERP system according to the master production plan and any engineering updates.
* Participate in daily production meetings to stay informed on current production activities.
* Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, planning, purchasing, stores, and manufacturing.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally you will have:
* At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering department.
* Experience working with Bill of Materials and ERP systems.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.
