Job Title: Site Manager Location: Coventry Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver high-quality construction projects in Coventry. You will be responsible for managing site operations to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating teams, overseeing contractors, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety: Enforce H&S standards and embed a proactive “Don’t Walk By” culture on-site. Quality Assurance: Maintain quality control using ISO systems, manage SnagR processes, and address non-conformance issues swiftly. Project Delivery: Coordinate site activities, manage project schedules, and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources. Financial Management: Monitor budgets closely, issue subcontractor instructions, and collaborate with the Contract Surveyor to keep costs in check. Team Leadership: Motivate, manage, and support site teams, including any assistants or trainees, to achieve project goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project progress. Success Measures Safe and efficient site operations with adherence to all H&S standards. Delivery of the project on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality standards. Clear communication with stakeholders and effective collaboration with the project team. Proactive management of project budgets, resources, and team productivity. Skills & Experience Required Qualifications: HND/Degree in Construction Management or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 4 years as a Site Manager with experience in multi-phase, mixed-use projects up to £50M. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction processes, H&S practices, and quality control systems. Certifications: CSCS, Scaffold Inspection, TWC, and Construction Management Fire Safety certifications preferred.
