Primary Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations: Efficiently process deliveries, ensuring all items are received accurately and recorded in the warehouse management system (Vector). Pick and prepare orders for store replenishment, maintaining effective communication with the Store teams to ensure timely stock replenishment. Assist with regular stock takes to ensure accurate warehouse inventory records. Load and unload vehicles by hand, following all health and safety protocols. Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized, actively participating in efforts to improve warehouse processes. Support the procurement process by assisting with purchasing products from suppliers and maintaining professional relationships. Undertake any additional tasks as required to support the Warehouse Manager and general warehouse operations. Assistance with Plant Installation & Maintenance: When required, to assist the Plant Installation & Maintenance Supervisor with the planning and execution of plant installation projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Support the preparation of resources for plant installations and maintenance visits, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available. Participate in on-the-job training to learn plant installation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards. Assist with plant maintenance tasks, such as watering, feeding, and applying pest control measures as directed by the Supervisor. Provide support in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by helping to ensure that all plant installations meet the required quality standards. Skills and Qualifications: Warehouse Operations: Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to handle the physical demands of warehouse work. Proficient in basic literacy and numeracy, with some experience using warehouse management systems. Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of plant care is beneficial, but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Customer Service: Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping maintain customer satisfaction. Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Physical Fitness: Must be capable of performing the physical aspects of the role, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects. Driving License: A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
