Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. To work with us, ideally, we'd need you to be available on our main changeover days, which are Mondays, Fridays and Sundays with weekdays available too. Please note, Saturday availability is crucial as we rota Saturdays amongst the Team Members. If you have an energetic can do attitude you will be an amazing fit for us. Attention to detail and a reliable approach is a must To be considered you must have the following: Knowledge of Worcester (desirable) One years driving experience of similar sized vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter) Full driving license (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you). As a Linen and Supplies Distributor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our housekeeping services by efficiently managing the distribution and replenishment of linens, towels, and consumables. Your responsibilities will include: Collecting linen from our central storage unit and bagging it up/loading the van according to the business needs. Distributing linen, towels, and consumables around Worcester and surrounding areas to our team of housekeepers. Restocking supplies such as soaps, shampoos, tea, coffee, sugar, etc., to ensure uninterrupted guest services. Dropping off dirty linen at the laundry premises in a timely manner. Communicating effectively with housekeepers regarding your whereabouts and their requirements, ensuring seamless coordination. Following all company safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities for resolution. Conducting weekly stock counts of all linen and consumables to monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are available. Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves, storing goods appropriately. Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule. Performing warehouse inventory controls. Move stock around by hand. Load goods for dispatch. Keep accurate stock records. Carry out stock counts as and when required. Keep paperwork up to date. Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures. Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others. Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner. Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency. Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value. Who is The Host & Stay Group?
