What matters to us
* Familiar with rock mechanic interpretation and requirements and input needed for rock mass characterization for developing ground models as input into FE calcs.
* Experience with interpretation of in-situ testing data (plate load testing, dilatometers, seismic interpretation).
Your contribution to our company
* Detailed rock joint mapping for the exploratory tunnel portal, the 1km hard rock exploratory tunnel, drilling gallery and niches.
* Instruction of temporary support for the exposed rock based on the mapping results.
* Supervision, interpretation of rig data and reporting of probe drilling for all excavations.
* Following the pre-excavation grouting and collating the data provided by the production team.
* Geotechnical inspections of the supported excavations.
* Follow up the geotechnical instrumentation monitoring for the excavations.
* Preparation and submission of monitoring and notification reports.
* Collection and analysis of the geotechnical instrumentation monitoring data, providing the information to the related parties.
* Production of detailed as-built sections of the excavations, forming two as-built models: one from hand sketches and a digital model using the scanned tunnel data.
* Logging of cores according to international standard practice.
