We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic Manager to lead our 16+ Residential Provision. This role is pivotal in helping us maintain high standards of care and support, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for our residents.
Role Overview:
As Manager of our 16+ Residential Provision, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a team culture focused on excellence, empathy, and growth. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people by guiding both staff and residents towards positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of dedicated care professionals, creating a positive, supportive, and growth-oriented environment.
2. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all services meet regulatory standards, including safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
3. Resident Support: Oversee personalized care and support plans for each resident, empowering them to work towards their personal goals.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents' families, social workers, and other external stakeholders.
5. Team Development: Identify training needs and provide ongoing support to ensure staff development and high levels of job satisfaction.
6. Financial Management: Manage budgets, control expenditures, and ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Proven experience in a management role within a residential care setting, ideally with experience supporting young people aged 16+.
2. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards for residential care provisions, including safeguarding and health and safety.
3. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
4. A compassionate and person-centered approach to working with young people.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
6. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care (preferred).
