As we expand our product offerings and reach a global market, we're growing our Commercial team to support this exciting new phase.
What you will be doing:
The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in driving the growth of Insphere by identifying new business opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline. You will be responsible for conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, and working closely with the Sales Engineer to convert prospects into clients. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to map out opportunities across different territories.
Market Research:
* Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential customers within the high-tech manufacturing sector.
* Analyse competitors, industry developments, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making.
* Build and maintain a database of target companies, key decision-makers, and industry contacts.
Lead Generation & Qualification:
* Proactively identify and generate new business leads through various channels,
* Perform initial qualification of leads to assess their fit with our product offerings and business goals.
* Schedule and conduct introductory calls with potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.
Pipeline Development:
* Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to develop tailored solutions and proposals for qualified leads.
* Assist in the preparation of technical documents to prospects.
* Tracking and manage leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates in the CRM system.
Reporting:
* Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the leadership team.
* Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on market trends, competitor activities, and potential new business opportunities.
About You:
* Experience in business development, sales, or related roles, ideally in high-tech (robotics knowledge is a plus!)
* Strong analytical skills for market research and data interpretation.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Target-driven, proactive and strong work ethic.
* Capable of understanding and conveying complex technical products.
