As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will be supporting the teacher in delivering high-quality education to students by taking on additional responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing lessons under the teacher's guidance. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play an essential role in small group work, one-on-one support for students with special educational needs, and classroom management. You will assist with the preparation of teaching resources, help assess student progress, and provide feedback to both students and teachers. Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) take on more advanced tasks, such as leading specific lessons or interventions, and may also mentor other teaching assistants. You will contribute to helping create an inclusive and effective learning environment, contributing to the overall success of the classroom and the students.
