Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Beater to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to its original condition. As a Panel Beater, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools to remove dents, creases, and other imperfections from vehicle panels.
* Weld and assemble parts as needed to restore structural integrity.
* Maintain equipment and tools in good working order, ensuring they are safe for use.
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide repair processes.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair options and timelines.
* Perform heavy lifting as required when handling large components or materials.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Panel Beater or similar role in the automotive industry.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* A keen eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £15,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
