We are recruiting for a Service Manager to join our Huddersfield team which covers our Skoda brand.

About You
We are recruiting for an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager with a strong technical understanding, as well as current or very recent experience at Management level within the retail motor industry.
This is an exciting challenge for an experienced Service Manager with excellent people management and communication skills. Your main focus will be to lead a quality team in a very busy department for excellent results.
As the Service Manager, you must organize the service activities to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation. You will also be responsible for managing a large team, including Service Technicians, Apprentices, Workshop Controller, Service Advisors, and Valetor/Drivers.
What we offer:
* A competitive salary to attract the best, basic up to £34,000. OTE up to £41,500.
* Preferential rates for servicing and repairs on your family and friend’s cars.
You will also be responsible for the following:
* Dealing with any customer issues and complaints.
* Ongoing monitoring and working to monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, in order to maximize profitability.
* To maximize commercial opportunities, monitoring customer needs to maintain high levels of customer service.
* To effectively market and sell service plans and warranties.
* To be able to demonstrate a good level of people management and hold monthly reviews with all of your team.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and one in three Saturdays 8.30am - 12.30pm.
