What does the role involve?
As a Quality Engineer you are responsible the implementation of the end-to-end repair service process within the service area. You will develop and lead technical competence of repairs within your assigned tool groups whilst ensuring all repairs are carried out in line with Hilti repair standards. You will be responsible for the initial training of all new technicians within your area of responsibilities, helping them develop the skills and knowledge to perform at a highest level.
In the role you are responsible for accurate levels of inventory and work closely with materials management & the spare parts warehouse to ensure a correct spare parts availability. You will also be in charge of reporting and monitoring KPI performance of tool groups of responsibility.

What you need is:
11. Suitable educational background in Industrial Engineering or similar
12. 3+ years of working experience in production environment, preference is quality system or standardization, processes related responsibilities
13. Leadership experience or experience coaching a team
14. Effective communication across internal and external stakeholders
15. Fluent in English
16. Availability to travel nationally and internationally, as required (approximately 10% of the time)
