About the role
You will work closely with a transactions VAT Director and be a crucial member of the team, ensuring the successful delivery of interesting, challenging, and high-quality transactions tax technical projects.

Responsibilities:
* Completing indirect tax due diligence projects, identifying VAT risks, and making practical recommendations for clients, whether sellers or buyers of businesses.
* Providing tax structuring advice before and after transactions to deliver VAT-efficient solutions.
* Developing junior team members through delegation, coaching, and feedback.
* Assisting in business development activities, including proposal preparation and building client relationships.
About the ideal candidate
* CTA qualified or equivalent is preferred.
* Experience at Manager level or demonstrating the necessary skill set.
* Good knowledge of transaction work, either in a specialist or broader role.
* Proven client handling and relationship-building skills.
* Strong coaching and people development abilities.
* Business development experience or interest is advantageous but not essential.
