STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the World’s leading manufacturers of forklift trucks, warehouse, and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit a VNA Sales Manager to cover the North region.
The main focus of this role is to promote, maintain, and increase the sales of the STILL VNA trucks (very narrow aisle), working in partnership within specific segments of the UK Sales teams, mainly covering the North Region. This role will be home-based but will require significant travel across the UK and will involve overstays from home as required and occasional travel abroad when required by the business.

As VNA Sales Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager – VNA Sales, you will be responsible for attaining the agreed individual and sales team targets by promoting and selling STILL equipment and services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach, maximizing sales profitability and growth within VNA Sales.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Working in partnership with the STILL Sales team, visiting customer sites and advising on the full technical requirements for a VNA application, presenting solutions for this product and, at times, for supporting MHE and warehouse processes.
* This will include:
o Advising on truck specifications and working with the VNAP design programme.
o Producing clear quotations to customers, encompassing customer requirements, and having the ability to present to customers at all levels.
o Completion of all order paperwork in a timely manner.
* Working with the VNA Project Engineers, Service/Product Technicians, and service installation teams to ensure the truck fully meets the customers’ requirements pre and post installation.
* Creating the sales strategy for both high-level conceptual sales and base-level product sales with Sales Managers.
* Undertaking and completing customer site surveys.
* Working as a team player with other departments within the ILS team, providing Turnkey solutions, including Automation offerings.

Who are we looking for?
• Experience of working in the materials handling business in a direct Sales role, with a good working knowledge of VNA trucks and its applications is desirable.
• An understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong presentation skills in the creation and presentation of proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
• Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• IT Literate – including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel.
• Full driving licence.
You will need to be commercially minded, IT literate, and have excellent communication skills.
