Registered Manager - Autism Location: Gloucester Salary: £35K per year Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Sector: Adult Learning Disability - 6 Bed Home Are you an experienced leader in the health and social care sector? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to join our client's team and oversee their Adult LD Supported Accommodation Service. This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and direction to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered. Main Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Provide leadership across administration, care, people management, catering, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance functions. Lead the marketing of the service and ensure occupancy levels are maintained at agreed prices. Ensure the service operates within financial budgets and agreed parameters. Stay up to date with training and development to maintain best practice standards. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practice guidelines. Notify the Care Quality Commission (CQC) of any continuous absence of 28 days or more and report return dates as required. Management of the Organisation: Maintain effective relationships with the Responsible Individual and key stakeholders. Foster an open, inclusive, and positive management culture. Develop and manage the service's budget aligned with business objectives. Contribute to strategic planning and policy development. Monitor and evaluate the service against quality and business objectives. Ensure the service operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain management information systems. Ensure policies and procedures are effectively formulated and applied. Human Resources Management: Recruit, select, and train staff in line with agreed budgets and service needs. Develop and manage staff rotas that comply with statutory requirements and service user needs. Implement effective staff orientation, induction, and professional development programs. Promote a culture of teamwork and conflict resolution. Ensure all job descriptions are relevant and up to date. Support Services Management: Develop and implement effective support and nursing practices. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of support delivery. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary health teams to optimise service user support. Uphold and protect the rights of service users. Professional Leadership in Long-Term Support: Foster innovative approaches to support delivery. Promote health and well-being within care strategies. Engage with local networks and professional bodies to enhance service provision. Develop relationships with educational institutions to promote staff training and development. Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth. Promote a positive image of the service as a leading provider of supported accommodation. Requirements: Minimum Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Proven leadership experience within a supported accommodation or health and social care setting. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements. Experience in budget management and strategic planning. Excellent people management, communication, and organisational skills.
