We are recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join our team in Hypertec. This role will be based at our Hungerford office in RG17 7RZ and working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.45am-5.30pm. The purpose of this role is to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to leverage growth opportunities and drive performance of the business.
Your Day-to-Day
1. Build relationships with key stakeholders within the existing customer estate.
2. Maintain regular contact to introduce new manufacturers, products, services, and technologies to achieve sales growth.
3. Encourage new customers to open an account with Hypertec and qualify new accounts.
4. Identify accounts with significant opportunity, engaging additional support/expertise and arranging meetings, Teams or in person
5. Managing pipeline and forecasting.
6. Profile potential leads to establish opportunities for new business.
7. Use market intelligence and historical data to plan and target your accounts effectively.
8. Collaborate with vendors and product specialists, encouraging synergy with Commercial, Customer Service and Credit Control
9. Complete administrative tasks such as responding to emails, processing orders and managing pricing.
10. Develop an industry-leading skill set by proactively keeping abreast of new trends and products in the market by attending sales training, vendor training, researching and self-study.
11. Participate in side-by-side coaching sessions with the Team Leader/Sales Manager to increase productivity and improve performance.
12. Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
Role Requirements
13. Must have proven experience in Account Management
14. Experience in the IT or Memory Channel is desirable but not essential
15. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
16. Must have experience in building and maintaining relationships
17. Must be able to reliably commute to RG17 7RZ
