We are looking to recruit a dynamic, strategic individual to manage the THRiVE collaboration. This person will be committed to the vision of children and young people thriving and be energetic in inspiring and enabling community change. You will be responsible for advancing the shared vision and aligned activities, securing investment and resources, supporting effective governance, consolidating shared measurement of impact and sharing learning from THRiVE. THRiVE is a collaboration of local parents, schools, churches, community groups and statutory and voluntary organisations working together to help children and young people thrive. The four key priorities for THRiVE are raising aspiration, improving attainment and supporting well-being through collaboration. One of the key conditions of collective impact is the need for backbone support to the collaboration. Barnardo's acts in this role for THRiVE and this Coordinator post is a significant support for the effectiveness of the collaboration.
* Qualification to degree level or equivalent in Youth and Community Work, Community Development, Teaching, Social Work, Early Childhood or another relevant subject
* Demonstrable experience of using community development approaches to work with children, young people and/or families in community settings
* Demonstrable experience of working with networks of agencies in the children and families sector
* Experience of setting up, managing, monitoring and evaluating projects
