The Role
We are seeking a Retail Assistant (Christmas Temp) to join our team this festive season. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing, heart-centred business, with the potential for a permanent position after the Christmas period for the right candidate. We’re looking for a vibrant person who shares our passion for holistic living and enjoys engaging with customers in a meaningful way.
While the role will initially be for the Christmas period, we are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term opportunity. Hours are flexible and will be discussed at interview, with approx. 21 hours per week to be split between two staff members. Flexibility for overtime and weekend availability is essential, as we may require additional hours for cover, sickness, or busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a warm, welcoming experience for customers, answering their questions and offering guidance on products.
* Assist with stock management and inventory tracking, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are visually appealing.
* Drive sales through excellent customer service and upselling where appropriate.
* Support the day-to-day operation of the shop, including opening and closing duties.
* Maintain the store’s cleanliness and organisation to create a pleasant shopping environment.
* Work closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of workshops and events during the holiday season.
* Assist in preparing and packing orders, including gift wrapping, during the busy Christmas period.
* Collaborate with the owner and other staff to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that reflects the values of Harmonize Your Soul.
