We are looking to recruit a Head of Lettings to join our established lettings office located in Marlborough, on a fixed term
contract as maternity cover, ideally starting in January.
The Head of Lettings will oversee and maintain the efficient running of the lettings and management team and the continued
development of Carter Jonas within the community. Additionally, the post holder will lead on the generation of new business for
the office and will oversee the management our client database. This is an exciting opportunity for an established senior
negotiator or manager looking to take on a new challenge in their career.
The team is made up of 3 members, across a range of levels and support functions. We offer a highly competitive salary package

Main tasks:
* Take on quality property to let and provide advice to prospective landlords
* Network and establish / develop Carter Jonas presence within the community
* Generate and develop new lettings instructions, overseeing and delivering creative marketing campaigns
* Manage our data base of Clients and applicants using REAPIT to ensure call dates are set and maintained and that we are in
regular contact.
* Manage the team and supporting team members to achieve their potential and to ensure objectives are met/exceeded
* Oversee our property management team
* Oversee renewals, extensions and periodic tenancies
* Arrange inventories and preparation of the properties for tenants occupation
* Oversee the presentation of our office and ensure is maintained to a high standard
* Oversee the seeking and vetting of prospective tenants including AML and right to checks
* Keep abreast of relevant tenancy legislation and relay to team
* Provide a high level of efficiency and customer service to all clients and tenants
* Adhere to and follow the Residential Lettings Standard Operating Procedures
What will it take to be successful?
We are seeking someone with a proven track record in Residential Lettings. You will be an excellent team builder who is skilled at
maximising cross selling opportunities. The Head of Lettings will be a strong negotiator with great interpersonal and
communication skills, who has the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be IT literate and comfortable
working with databases and relevant software.
