Who we are looking for
A Sports Content Coordinator, who will assist in the building and maintenance of multifaceted marketing campaigns and site content across multiple channels.
The Sports Content department is responsible for overseeing the offers section of our website. This includes assisting in the building and testing of marketing communications that are sent out to customers each week for a specific territory.
In this role, you will help to write, create and test the marketing material provided is in line with the pre-defined briefs, provided by the Sports CRM team, whilst ensuring content meets various regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for the content and quality control of one territory in which we operate.
If successful you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from your first day of employment.
Preferred skills and experience
* Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, including Contentful and communication tools such as Braze.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in our content before publishing to customers.
* Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing requirements at short notice.
* Self-motivation with exceptional organisation, planning, communication and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a task-oriented environment.
* Keen interest in a wide range of sports.
* Strong knowledge of our website and sports offers.
* High standard of written English.
* A degree in English, Marketing or relevant discipline.
Main Responsibilities
* Building and maintaining content using a Content Management System that is currently used across our sports sites.
* Building and testing customer communications, using various tools in order to promote relevant offers.
* Working closely with Sub Editors to create engaging and consistent content for a specific territory globally.
* Proofreading all content prior to publication, ensuring all content is accurate and meets a high standard.
* Liaising with a number of internal departments to ensure all promotional content is tested and delivered on time and meets the agreed briefs.
* Reviewing our Sports and Sports Extra sites regularly to ensure all site content is both up to date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
