Job Description
We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Spa Therapist to join our luxurious Anantara Spa. As a Spa Therapist, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatments to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience in our tranquil setting.
1. Perform a variety of massage techniques and body treatments according to spa protocols and guest preferences.
2. Educate guests about specific wellness concerns and recommend appropriate treatments.
3. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized treatment room.
4. Properly use and care for spa equipment and products.
5. Actively promote spa services, treatments, and retail products.
6. Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
7. Collaborate with the spa team to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
8. Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings to stay updated on new techniques and spa offerings.
9. Adhere to all company policies, including health and safety regulations.
10. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring punctuality and appropriate treatment durations.
Qualifications
1. Certificate in Spa or Massage Therapy.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a 5-star resort or luxury spa setting.
3. Proficiency in various massage techniques including Balinese and body treatments.
4. Excellent knowledge of spa protocols and wellness concepts.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Fluency in English.
7. Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
9. Physical stamina to perform treatments throughout the day.
10. Basic computer skills for managing appointments and records.
11. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays.
12. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
13. Time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
