Job Title HR Systems Adviser - Implementation Project Job Location Cheltenham Description About the Role We're a law firm that specialises in media, technology, and intellectual property. Established in 2003, we've grown from a handful of lawyers to around 260 people and established ourselves as a multi-award-winning firm with a reputation for innovation and excellence. Our client list includes major Hollywood studios and blue-chip companies in the tech, betting, and gaming sectors, alongside entrepreneurs aiming to be tomorrow's household names. We're based mostly in London and Cheltenham. We also have an office in Brussels. We are looking to upgrade our HR Information System this year and want someone to join our friendly and enthusiastic HR team to support us through this project, which we expect will take around 6 months. The priority is to support with the final stages of the selection process and then to begin work on implementation. You'll focus initially on the core HR and payroll modules - with a view to expanding later to other modules, such as recruitment, appraisal, or learning. You'll be involved across the project, including: Designing and building required modules, dashboards, workflows, and automated processes Data cleansing and migration Planning the project phases, timescales and resources required, including UAT testing, payroll parallel runs, delivery of training and post-implementation support to system users Integration with other Wiggin IT systems Designing and delivering appropriate training to all system users You'll be encouraged to consider and make recommendations for how we can exploit the new system to achieve efficiencies, improve our access to management information and achieve greater engagement within the firm. Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll work closely with colleagues in the HR Team (currently seven people) who are all committed and excited about the possibilities the new system will offer and are keen to support the process. The role is based in our Cheltenham office, so you will need to attend regularly, as strong stakeholder management and understanding our culture and working processes will be essential. Travel to our London office is also likely to be involved, but there can be some flexibility on attendance given the specific nature of the role. In return we offer a competitive remuneration package including a salary of between £38,000 and £45,000 (depending on experience), 25 days holiday (pro rata) and private medical cover with Vitality. About you This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in, and aptitude for, HR systems and technology who is looking to grow their experience with a view to becoming a specialist systems and project manager. You will have been actively involved in at least one HRIS implementation project in the past and have a solid knowledge of HR processes appropriate to a professional services setting. Naturally, we are looking for someone with a 'tech' mindset and expertise - you'll need to be highly logical and data oriented, highly organised and have excellent attention to detail. You'll also need strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
