Our client is seeking a diligent and organised Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have some Finance experience with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you have a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The role is Hybrid with 3 days based in Harrogate and 2 from home.
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of supplier invoices
Handle credit card transactions
Maintain the accounts payable email account
Manage a paperless filing system
Address invoice queries and conduct supplier reconciliations
Set up new supplier accounts
Accurately input all data
Collect and distribute daily post
Answer telephone enquiries with a pleasant manner
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as requiredPlease note that this role's duties may evolve with the company's changing needs.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel; experience with Navision is desirable
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive 'can-do' attitude
