Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior or Principal Ecologist located in Derby. The Senior or Principal Ecologist will be responsible for conducting field work, wildlife assessments, environmental impact assessments, botanical surveys, and report writing related to ecology and environmental projects.
Qualifications
* Wildlife assessment and field work skills
* Botany knowledge (ideally FISC 3+)
* Ideally, experience in conducting Environmental Impact Assessments
* Strong report writing abilities
* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
* Previous experience in ecological consultancy
* Good project management skills
* Experience liaising with clients and providing advice on a range of situations
