We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team and help us build and maintain these crucial partnerships and support in driving the business forward to create a Supplier Management Centre of Excellence.
This is a hybrid role, where you can blend working from home with office presence dependent on business requirements.
About the role
Excellent supplier relationship management is key for YBS and this role, as it underpins our ability to drive value and deliver excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing several suppliers ensuring that requirements and objectives are exceeded. You will:
1. Support the Lead Supplier Relationship Manager to develop the Supplier Relationship Management framework in partnership with the wider Supply Chain Management function, Compliance, and Legal teams.
2. Be responsible for conducting regular reviews and audits of supplier performance and identifying and mitigating risks associated with the supply chain.
3. Work closely with and support the Lead Supplier Relationship Manager with process reviews and service improvement plans for any underperforming suppliers.
About you
To be successful in this role, it is preferable for you to have worked in a previous supplier relationship (such as Business Relationship Manager/3rd Party Relationship Manager) or risk role, working on supplier management and having an awareness of supplier contracts and engagement for the ultimate delivery of agreed service levels. You'll have:
1. The ability to strongly influence a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, with proven relationship/stakeholder management skills and the capability to face into what can be challenging and difficult conversations.
2. Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret management information and data.
3. A Financial Services background would be useful, with experience of the regulations surrounding the management and requirements of supplier management.
