Manage WernerCo’s product portfolio for a select Retail base of customers that could include Wickes, Costco, Aldi, Very, Dyas and Online customers, plus new business opportunities. They will need to manage all aspects of the relationship from a sales, marketing and service perspective for the assigned accounts, this should be done in collaboration with the other National Account Managers to jointly establish consistent, well defined sales strategies and leadership in the marketplace. Establish and achieve sales and profit goals for the assigned National accounts Develop and execute appropriate channel strategies and programs which support WLC objectives. This includes jointly developing with the Marketing Department channel specific sales and marketing programs. Establish and maintain relationships with assigned National accounts through customer calls, national shows, events and conferences. Provide category information related to assigned National accounts from which effective training and instruction is developed for regional personnel and manufacturer representatives. National Account Manager to provide the necessary support and/or analysis to corporate production and supply management in order to resolve customer service issues involving product availability, quality, distribution, and/or sales and marketing administration. Understand and perform gap analysis and product range reviews. Perform other duties as required. Proven experience of sale program development for retail sales, including evidence of having solved sales, merchandising, sales service, distribution and related problems. Evidence of the ability to manage people and handle profit and loss responsibility. Evidence of good analytical, planning and negotiating skills. Experience making effective verbal and written presentations to key customers. Use of PC basics: word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. Substantial travel. This job will require 50% to 70% travel. Strong computer expertise. Experience planning, marketing/selling, and managing sales in Retail and Online channels.
