Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and passionate professional with strong scientific understanding and a solid grasp of sustainability issues to join us as Junior Commercial Executive. In this dynamic role, you will support Evoralis' commercial activities, building relationships with future partners and promoting our mission across various platforms.
This is a hybrid position, requiring proximity to Cambridge or Oxford. You must also be willing to travel globally for meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, including recyclers and textile companies, to drive awareness of Evoralis' capabilities and long-term goals.
* Market Research: Identify and evaluate opportunities in textiles, recycling, and related industries to expand Evoralis’ reach.
* Customer Relationship Management: Support initial outreach and ongoing engagement with stakeholders, ensuring strong B2B relationships.
* Marketing Support:
* Plan and manage content for social media channels to raise awareness about Evoralis’ mission and achievements.
* Keep the company website updated with impactful and relevant content.
* Contribute to event planning and represent Evoralis at industry conferences and meetings.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and the wider team, gaining hands-on experience in business development and marketing while contributing to the company's mission to transform the textile and other industries.
Required Skills and Experience
* At least 2 years of experience in a B2B business development role; additional marketing experience is a plus.
* A solid understanding of scientific principles and sustainability challenges for plastics in the textile or recycling industries.
* Proactive, outgoing, and confident, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite or Canva) or a willingness to learn.
* Flexibility to travel internationally for business purposes.
