Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a regional main contractor based in Colchester. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the whole project from conception to completion while being responsible for health & safety, delivery, programming, cost & quality.
The principal contractor operates across the student accommodation, education, health care, commercial, and care home sector. The ideal Project Manager candidate will have a background in these sectors.
Requirements and Responsibilities for the Project Manager candidate:
* Ensure the project delivery is running on time and within clients' expectations.
* Be the point of contact for the client and build a solid relationship to promote future business.
* Produce programmes and run weekly programme meetings.
* Manage site team and subcontractors.
* Regular reporting upstream.
* Have strong communication skills and good attention to detail.
* Commercial awareness and work closely with the commercial team.
* Good at problem solving and planning works.
* Excellent attention to detail.
Experience required:
* 5 years Project Management experience minimum.
* CITB SMSTS.
* CSCS.
* First Aid.
* Fire Marshall.
* Asbestos Management.
