We are looking to develop a more proactive sales / customer services culture, whilst maintaining a seamless customer experience. Your role, as our Internal Sales / Inside Sales Team Leader will be split between leading, managing, and mentoring (20), coupled with some personal account management, processing orders and making offers to both active customers and prospects or lapsed customers (20). Customer service is also a part of your role. You will set the pace, lead by example, and strive on meeting your teams sales target.

A Leading the internal sales team, chairing sales meetings, and offering support / suggestions to improve both results and efficiencies.
A Delivering a hunting / closing type culture, while supporting others to work the same.
A Tracking and monitoring against agreed KPIs (once a KPI is implemented, you will measure response rates, conversion rates, tasks, and ensure consistent delivery).
A Understanding customers needs and preparing offers for parts and service, on our SAP computer system.
A Preparing offers in a consultative manner, handling objections, and closing profitable orders.
A Understanding our products (continuous learning process), their applications, and general features (appropriate training is provided).
A Liaising with both the direct customers as well as factories located Internationally.
A Supporting the external business developers.
A Providing feedback and regular updates to customers.
A Measure the sales data and take appropriate actions together with others ins a consultative manner.

Ideally, you will have an Internal Sales / Inside Sales Leadership background within any technical product. A technical aptitude is most important (full training is provided). Any SAP user knowledge is beneficial.
