SEMH Teaching Assistant - Kettering

You will be supporting vulnerable children in their school environment, helping them to achieve calm and regulated moods to access their learning and development. You will assist the children with self-regulation activities and techniques.
Working with students who are vulnerable and need support with their SEMH and personal needs, you will need to be aware of safeguarding processes within the school and implement them when required. You may also be supporting students with elements of personal care when needed.
Working with vulnerable children in schools will allow you the opportunity to see their interactions with others, understand how schools support students and families, and identify key support strategies that you could use later in your career. This opportunity will enhance your understanding of vulnerable children with SEMH, SEN, trauma, and more.
Additional information about this role:
1. Full time & permanent position available
2. £85-120 per day
3. 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
4. ASAP start subject to onboarding checks being completed
