JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to join the pioneering and thought-leading international marketing team in NOV. We're looking for a focused, driven individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for purposeful marketing, building relationships, and problem-solving.
As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the strategic business needs of your assigned brands, and planning and executing the required marketing and communication activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop trusted relationships with the brand leadership as the go-to strategic marketing partner, provide support, and guidance on solutions, whilst managing expectations.
2. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leadership in all functional groups to ensure alignment. Collaborate with product line and sales leadership to ensure maximum penetration of market segments.
3. Plan, execute, measure, and report on the marketing strategy, campaigns, budget, and events for the assigned brands, review quarterly to ensure alignment with business needs, and meaningfulness to the target audience.
4. Understand target markets, customers and their needs and drivers, and audit competitor content to stay abreast of industry trends.
5. Project management for the development of marketing assets, including development approval, proper storage, and distribution of all marketing collateral for the brand.
6. Product and system solution marketing - Assess and maintain channels, events and sales tools required to communicate NOV's unique offerings in an effective and simple way, identify and prioritise integrated marketing solutions.
7. Some travel will be required.
Qualifications:
1. BA in Marketing or related field.
2. Working experience in product marketing, or holding similar responsibilities such as Brand Management, Communications.
3. Ability to present to audiences at all levels of the organization.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required, Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Working experience in product marketing, or holding similar responsibilities such as Brand Management, Communications.
2. Confident content writing and eye for design skills required.
3. Outstanding collaboration and problem-solving skills. Asks good questions to get to the root cause or to analyze the need.
4. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills required.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
